Live preview · Open Beta July 2026

The Open Beta

Stream Siege runs inside Twitch as an extension, and Twitch reviews every extension before it can go live to the public. That review is in progress now. Here is where things stand and what happens next.

Where things stand

  1. Now

    Live previewhappening now

The game is running in real matches on its home channel, twitch.tv/archonthewizard. This is the full game — waves, drafts, sieges, the boss race — being played and tuned live.

  2. July 17–24

    Twitch review completes

Twitch is reviewing the Stream Siege extension. The review is expected to finish between July 17 and 24. Until it clears, only the preview channel can run the game.

  3. Right after

    Open Beta begins

As soon as the review clears, the Open Beta starts on the home channel: anyone watching twitch.tv/archonthewizard can open the panel, tap Join, and play in real matches.

  4. Shortly after

Free for every streamer — and stream vs stream

Once the beta has proven itself, Stream Siege opens up: any streamer can add the extension to their channel for free and host matches for their own community. Streamer-vs-streamer battles — two live communities racing head to head — arrive with this rollout.

Questions & answers

Can I play right now?

Not quite yet — the join panel is exactly what Twitch is reviewing. Until the review clears, you can watch full live matches on the preview channel; the moment the Open Beta starts, anyone watching that channel can join and play.

What do I need to play?

Just Twitch. The game runs entirely inside a panel on the stream — there is nothing to install and no separate account to create. Open the panel, tap Join, pick a class.

How do I get it on my channel?

Shortly after the Open Beta begins, Stream Siege opens up free for any streamer to add to their channel and host matches for their community. Setup instructions and the go-live announcement will be posted in the Discord first.

When do two streams actually fight each other?

Streamer-vs-streamer battles switch on when the extension opens to all streamers, shortly after the Open Beta starts. From then on, two live communities can race the same waves head to head.

Where do updates get posted?

The Stream Siege Discord is the home for beta news, patch notes, and the go-live announcement, with highlights on X and the Twitch channel.

Is the game finished?

It is fully playable end to end — classes, spells, the upgrade draft, sieges, and the boss race are all in and being balanced through live playtests. Expect tuning, polish, and new content through the beta.
